Personal: Jaid Stowell was born and raised in Parowan, Utah, immersed in the farming and ranching lifestyle from day one. Growing up, Jaid was actively involved in 4-H and FFA, as well as local riding clubs and rodeo competitions. Some of her most cherished childhood memories come from showing the livestock she raised. The western lifestyle has been a constant throughout Jaid’s upbringing, fostered by working alongside her family on their farm and ranch operation.

After graduating high school, Jaid attended Snow College where she continued pursuing her passion by joining the rodeo team and stock horse team. Jaid is currently in the process of filling her permit in the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA). She is currently running at the professional rodeo level on a horse that she personally raised and trained from birth, Nikee. She won the WPRA permit barrel race at the Western Region held in Salina, UT in April 2024. To support herself through college, Jaid rides horses as well as gives riding lessons. Jaid’s lifelong involvement in farming, ranching, and rodeo has solidified a deep appreciation and love for the western lifestyle. It is a way of life that has shaped who Jaid is and continues to influence her future goals and aspirations. She loves to wear colored hats.
